The Waterline Series was inspired primarily by excursions on the Athabasca and North Saskatchewan Rivers. It originated from smaller works first undertaken on the Sturgeon River, a few kilometers southeast of Entwhistle, Alberta, on a cool spring evening in early April 1998. This is still an exhibition of work in progress, which will not likely be completed for another couple of years.
